Can I use a payment method not in my name?

Learn why we don't allow to use payment method not under your name

Updated over 2 weeks ago

At CrownCoins, we have strict policies in place to ensure the safety and security of our players. One of these policies prohibits the use of payment methods that are not registered under the player's name.

Policy on Payment Ownership

No. You may not use a payment method owned by someone else. This includes payment methods belonging to:

  • Family members

  • Friends

  • Colleagues

Our Terms of Service clearly state that any payment method used to purchase CrownCoins must be legally and beneficially owned by the player. This means the name on the payment method must match the name on your CrownCoins account.

Consequences of Using Third-Party Payments

If a player is found using a payment method not registered in their name, their account may be suspended. This measure is in place to protect both the player and the platform from potential fraudulent activity.

Verification Requests

In some cases, we may request documentation to verify the legal and beneficial ownership of a payment method. This ensures that all transactions are legitimate and authorized by the account holder.

For more information on our payment policies, please refer to our Terms of Service.
